100 Word Wednesday 9-11-19

Sitting here contemplating the water, the drops so mingled they flow, not fast as a river, but here they stop to rest a bit. Every drop lingers a few seconds inducing my eye to see its individual beauty.

I sit here every day and will be here for many years, observing my small surroundings, a symbol of time that passes; time so quickly observed in a single drop. Extreme pleasure comes when the sun reflects to cause a glint of a rainbow as the drops rise and fall. Discover each drop, reflect, and toss a coin to make a wish.
