Today’s prompt: granite, zucchini, lie

Feverishly working in her small kitchen, Julie decided to try the new zucchini bread recipe for the bake sale. She had watched the cooking channels tirelessly but most efforts to complete a recipe that resembled the shows’ efforts failed. Julie either was missing one or two ingredients or sometimes lied to herself the oven was at fault.
However, this day she was reserved to bring more to the sale than the usual bake shop purchases. Zucchini bread 101 displayed on her phone and she did have every ingredient ready. Lifting it from the oven, Julie noticed it was heavier than anticipated, but thought it was a quick bread, and lovely ingredients, therefore not worried.
At the school sale, the monitors sliced one end of the bread to show it off, noticed the texture was more congealed than most, but put it on display with the others. A customer, looking at the beautiful looking bread, bought a piece right away. Unfortunately he let out a yell after the second bite. He had broken a tooth on the walnut shell concealed in the bread. “Good god, I broke my tooth! What’s in this, granite?” He pulled a large piece of shell out of his mouth and threatened to sue the school.
