Yes, they are disgusting! It gives me a chill just looking at this picture.

A true sad tale to report this week. Living in Houston had many disadvantages especially when you move into a house with cedar shingles. It seems roaches love cedar shingles. I was frightened of the big creepy crawlies in Texas, but never disgusting and abhorrent as roaches.

My husband left on a business trip and I was alone with three little ones in a new house where we had just moved. The surrounding houses had monthly visits from exterminators, so we followed suit the day he left.

Removing everything from the cupboards, I assembled items in the middle of the floor. After the required time to return inside with my kids, we started to replace the items to the cupboards. Imagine my horror as roaches scattered out from under those items. I felt I had to wash every single thing and called the exterminator to report what happened. There was no sleep in the house that night.

    3. I was walking in the hall from my daughters bedroom to mine at night when I heard a scurrying g and then plop. It landed on my shoulder. I swished it off and leaped and I mean leaped from the hall to my bed. Called the exterminators the next day, again. Yipes
