I just finished watching this movie and now realize what it means when my daughter, husband and kids are all eating dinner, and someone yells, “chips, where are my chips?” Being a blended family in more ways than one, this is an appropriate term for us, with three adopted children, the movie is spot on. One adopted at two months, one at four and one at six, it has been a wild ride at times, but here we are, now ages 16, 13 and 21 and all survived, so far….just kidding. I joke because it can be tougher than you imagine and humor does help. As their grandmother, I could tell stories…maybe later. In the meantime give this movie a look and let me know what you think.
