Love is fleeting, all the more today. Only connecting by technology, who sits across a dinner table looking into another’s eyes, listening to their words? Cell phones are a necessary but defeating item. Texting becomes the norm where not even whole sentences are required. “Life is shorter than you think” is often said by older people like me, because it is true. We’re warning you to stop, take the time. It won’t matter to the world if you spend an hour of a busy day truly listening to and hearing your friends and loved ones. No phone or email or computer–face to face, because they matter to you, and you matter to them.
