Friday Fictioneers

It looked ordinary, as if it was any other waiting room for exit flights. It was not what I expected as this was no ordinary airport. No one seemed as anxious as I was, maybe it wasn’t their first time. I hesitated, trying to find a section of three seats where I could sit in the middle and not have to deal with strangers. That would be happening soon enough.

Sitting next to a railing, feeling safe on one side at least, turned my attention to the others in the space. I wondered if anyone else was traveling to Hell.
