My interest in baseball was piqued last year during the World Series with the Boston Red Sox. Partly because my grandson Jesse won Sharon Robinson’s essay contest which she iniated to honor her father, Jackie Robinson.
Jesse and his dad were rewarded with trip to Boston and much more. You can read my other posts about these events here: Red Sox Win and I’m so Excited, and Daily Prompt: Luminescent. I wrote a few posts during the season and the series and about my grandson Jesse.
My choice today is,”Moneyball” – very interesting and enjoyable. An inside look at “America’s pastime” that makes remarkable points.

The Bag Lady 
I liked this movie. It was interesting to see how it all came together. Of course, the A’s are right across the bridge from us so that made it fun too.
