Now there’s a word, semantics

Sometimes absurd

If uttered by critics or non romantics.

The use of words is fun I say

Why, I use them everyday!

Meanings sometimes misconstrued

Purposely, I often use

A word that has another meaning

While my nonsense I am streaming.

It’s all in fun, well usually. . .

I bungle them quite casually

Semantics scholars get a bit stiff

And might tend to cause a riff

With well intended writers here

I say, live and let live, you’re not puppeteers.
