Word of the Day: Lackluster

It’s been said, often by me, that life these days lacks luster, but then I’m reminded how I’m mistaken. A small girl dons her first tutu and I think, it can’t get any better than this. As years go by I see her amazement peering through a telescope for the first time. And then last week, sitting outside a changing room to see this beautiful butterfly emerge in her first formal gown. Definite luster.
