My only salvation was the daily visit from Doctor Jones. He was my ruin and salvation all in one. Constant traveling to foreign lands, with deserts, jungles, secret treasures, lost antiquities, all required strength which sadly I no longer had. Lou had warned me, but the pull of danger and adventure drew me instantly to the archaeologist.
