Bobby the bulb was a pesky little guy. He was always trying new things, stirring up trouble and being a general nuisance. His parents, two ceiling lights that had hoped to be chandeliers one day, had finally given up their dreams and spent most of their time trying to keep Bobby under control.
It all started when he figured out he could light himself without the usual electric cord connection. He had seen his older brothers use batteries to light their flashlight bodies, so why not try it himself? Bobby sneaked into the garage and found a box of old parts from a 1980 model cable tv device. He decided to modify it a bit and found he was no longer inhibited by a cord. He could plug himself in at any outlet and the device charged him for about ten hours. It allowed him to play whenever and wherever he wanted.
