Thinking too much

Things I cannot change

Going circular in my brain

Around and around they churn

Neurons begin to burn

Headaches from tears

And enhanced fears

Could it be as simple

Could it be defined

Just to let things go

It’s not your design?

I was told for years “just let go” and for the life of me couldn’t figure out how, learning to write helped me get control of my mind. Your poem is poignant . . . . just saying, Claudia
