She was on a mission. Not the “Blues Brothers’ mission from God”, but a quest, really, to find the ancient tome entitled “Secrets of the Magic Candle”. Jody had been to all the other booksellers in this area, even perusing the junk shops, only to be disappointed.
It was the Mystical Candle Maker’s Society that encouraged her on this venture. Her group made candles holding mystical qualities, fake gifts for hopeful, misguided persons to burn and dream upon.
There were no actual potions involved in their melting. . .yet. That is why she had to find the book with the recipes.
