Word of the Day: Magnify

I shared my love of “Outlander” in my previous post of FOWC’s Noble, but watching Sunday’s episode was heartbreaking. Of course the production chose to magnify the scenes with background music I consider the saddest song ever composed: “Adagio for Strings”.

This music has been used in “Platoon”, “Lorenzo’s Oil”, and “The Elephant Man” and more. I can never listen to it without crying. I was saying this to my daughter on Sunday and then today on the Google news, it had an article saying the same thing. I guess I’m finally “not the only one” or I was hacked! : ))
