Technology and I are not long distance lovers, friends, not acquaintances, not even a howdy do in passing. Today I lost all contacts on my phone. Yes, I always have backup checked in case I do something stupid. No luck. I think I need cans and a very long string.

If technology were gardening or repair, even house work, there’d be some basic logic to it, so irritating that there’s no synergy or intuition with phones.

we bought George a cell phone yesterday, and tried to put all his contacts in it today.
We had to get Sam, the six year old next door, to do it for us.

Baked beans tins work the best. And make sure you wax the string with a candle, it reduces ‘fuzz’/ 🙂
