I lift my iPad and what do I see

Emoji snapchats messaging me

Grandkids aplenty here and there

Sending morning wishes because they care

Awwwww… (pause for sighing)

Two are riding their way to soccer

One here, reading a book in my rocker

One is at work at the cinema

One at a lab solving enigmas

One is on fire duty, always seems to be

And one is taking exams in Greeley

All of these greetings are precious to me

How blessed, how lucky can an old lady be?
