If you loved Star Trek, you will get a kick out of this movie. I especially liked Alan Rickman of course. I miss him!

The Bag Lady 
I love Galaxy Quest because of Rickman. He is one that I truly miss. I was just thinking the other day about him and ended up fishing through YouTube for my favorite scenes. I can’t find Mesmer or Rasputin though and it had me bummed. I loved everything he was in, but those two were great.

Just watched it again a week ago. So many priceless moments — that alien laugh, the late Alan Rickman’s performance as a despairing Shakespearean actor, Guy’s reaction to being transported to the ship, the cute little killing monsters. Yes, I laugh at it all.

It is a great one for all those reasons and more. I love the beginning where Rickman is feeling bad about resigning to his present job.
