Three Line Tales #151 – Blurred Vision

Mary dreamed of seeing this old carousel again. As a child it brought lots of smiles, actually was her favorite carnival ride. Her mother brought her every day the carnival was in town, way back then.

Mary’s childhood seemed ideal. Loving parents, modest warm home, and then there were always things to look forward to, such as the summer when the carnival came to town.

This year Mary decided to go home in the summer but when she found her parents ill and her home in shambles from neglect, Mary’s memories vanished into reality. Even the carousel had turned dark.
