An afternoon, just relaxing for some. These white, winged beauties are keen observers. They notice everything from scattered crumbs left from a sandy seaside picnic, to a potential meal from a ripple in the sea. They need no sunscreen, well adapted to their environment with wide wing spans to easily soar above the ocean. Keen eyes allow them to concentrate and obtain focus on the tiniest morsel on a boardwalk.
If you decide to feed these birds with a crumb of bread–a warning, they like to share and one call of these gulls will cause an often menacing winged crowd.
I dislike seagull since one swooped down and took my sandwich out of my hand pecking my thumb in the process 🤬
