Hey! Happy Saturday! Yesterday was my oldest granddaughter’s “white coat ceremony” at the Anschutz medical campus in Denver. It was rewarding, amazing, and awesome. What a highlight of the summer, even out shadowed her graduation from CU Denver earlier this summer. Receiving the white coat and stethoscope is the start of a long medical education beginning with three years of classes and then “on the job” training. Of course bodily functions is the Prompt for this Saturday’s ramblings, and her training to be a doc personifies the interest she has in how our bodies and eventual patients’ bodies function. Her hope is to become a family doctor in a small town where she grew up, so more power to her.

Congratulations!
