But he could dance a mean soft shoe

Stepped over to her seated form

Hope she cared not for the norm

Asked her to dance with flair

The window of warning she did not see

“Dance the night away with me”

Answered yes, held quietly

Unknowing he was a deity

Was swept up into eternity.
