His feet were large, his body too
But he could dance a mean soft shoe
Stepped over to her seated form
Hope she cared not for the norm
Asked her to dance with flair
She rose from her cafe chair
The window of warning she did not see
“Dance the night away with me”
Answered yes, held quietly
Unknowing he was a deity
Was swept up into eternity.
