Rodney Dangerfield, circa 1979, was famous for his comedy routines mainly criticizing his family. It wouldn’t fly today, he’d probably be arrested for sexual harassment, but in those days it seemed to be funny. He was the guy who always said, “I don’t get no respect, no respect at all”.
I think these one liners are still funny:
“My mother had morning sickness after I was born”;
“I bought a new book called 100 Ways to Make Love, ended up in traction. . .it was a misprint“;
“Looked up my family tree and two dogs were peeing on it”.
Hope I didn’t offend any of you. It was a long time ago.
