Joey just sat there. He didn’t know what to do next. The sky was dark now with no moon to show his tears. He would keep it here beside him until she changed her mind. He promised her everything, including the moon, but she still didn’t love him. What else could he do?
When she saw the sky had no moon would she know he had taken it just for her, to prove his love? He would sit here until she came. Surely she will come.
