Jerry had a different thought. “I never believed her weird stories, but those roots look strange, almost like they’re scratching something in the dirt!” Jerry moved closer, watching the slight movement of the roots.

“See anything, Jerry?” Remembering Agatha’s warning, Joe feared getting any nearer.
