Daily Prompt: Communal

This is the time of year when many parts of the world act communally. They donate time and money to help others in their communities. Sometimes they actually make sandwiches or foodstuffs and deliver it to the less fortunate, homeless, or poverty stricken areas. Food and clothing make good donations. These actions occur mostly in the holiday season and for that the recipients are all grateful. The ideal of course would be that these actions happened all year long.
