Daily Prompt: Knit

Used to be able to do it

What I’m talking about is knit

Now any attempts I can’t emit

My un-nimble fingers are unfit

If I tried, I’d look like a twit.

Years ago I decided to quit

When the sweater I made only befit

A very large tall man of grit

Others make scarves to me they remit

I love their efforts and thank them with wit

Admiring their work for skills they transmit.
