You’re not all that big
So what is the trick
That made you the choice
Was it an almighty voice
Or just circumstance
That we were planted
Here on this planet
With odd companions
Ones with two legs, or four
Not overly fond of ones that have more
But here we all are, hanging on for dear life
Through all tribulations, enduring the strife
Of love and hate and different skins
We all rise and fall and skin our shins
We all exist alone but together
All on the same orb with no tether
Except for that universal trust
Trying to love each other because we must
Otherwise what is the use
Forget the planet, just let loose?
It matters much what we choose to do
Cause the orb will keep turning and we will lose.

Great poem!
