MLMM Wordle 171 – Attraction

The female dahlia adjusted her skirt of petals, careful not to hide her waiting pistil.  Her stomach was turning into a large granny knot, but she clutched her stem to reverse the effect of her nerves.  She hoped the bees would not dawdle, but measure time wisely. Her pistil and stamen awaited the touch of pollen.
Simmering in the summer sun, the beautiful gold-orange dahlia presented herself well, posing her leaves in an arabesque position.  She was anxiously waiting.  Her friend, a rust colored dahlia, knew they would both make beautiful dahlia plants.
The honeybee made another loop around the flower bed.  The dahlias lifted themselves tall and proud, ready to receive the bee.

Lovely and wonderful πŸ™‚ I really like how you used the perspective of the flower to tell the story – using the wordle so cleverly. Well done πŸ™‚ this has a gentle and sinuous quality to it – delightful!

thanks for playing the wordle this week πŸ™‚
