It started as only a few drops of rain, tears of loneliness, sorrow, leading up to a constant tempest in her mind. The rain had increased, causing a flood of emotion that couldn’t be contained. A storm consumed her thoughts, unrelenting, remembrances of a broken heart. Laying in puddles of doubt and sad memories, she wanted to break free, feel the sun on her face to dry her tears.
