It’s almost pathetic

Certainly magnetic

The attraction, appeal

For animals revealed.

Their beauty, those eyes!

Expressive, and they rarely deny

Their interest in you.

They look, sniff, as if they knew

Sense that you would do no harm

When you extend your arm

Love to feel their fur or skin

It’s their eyes that draw me in.

You can tell if they’re willing

To meet and just start chilling

I used to care for them as a job

Oh, Dalmatians in a mob

Hyper, friendly and sweet

Walking them in the street

It was fun, made some friends

Mostly toward the animal bend.

  2. I tried dog food for the first time this weekend. Well, actually I had a ‘canned dog food’ flavored jelly bean. I can’t tell you how accurate it actually is, but it tasted exactly like how I always thought it would whenever I walked in the dog food aisle. That these animals love us as much as they do with food that tastes like that is truly a miracle and speaks to their hearts. Hahah.

    2. I’m so glad you saw and enjoyed Wind River! The next movie I want to watch is Hitman’s Bodyguard. It looks so ridiculous and I hope they make tons of funny references to Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner’s ‘Bodyguard’.
