Warning, this is not a tale, or a story, just a ramble.  Sorry, Michael! 🙄😎 Since my birthday is coming up soon, I decided to write a less serious post for a change, about my birth sign, Virgo. I don’t follow horoscopes or astrology, but I have to admit some signs do resemble the people who are born during that month. Of course for myself, I choose the good qualities, who wouldn’t? And ignore the others, especially when they’re a little too close to home.

They are able to break down seemingly impossible problems into small and workable parts and then come up with a solution that actually works.👩🏼‍🔬

The Virgo isn’t the most patient person in the world when it comes to dealing with downright incompetence and stupidity.👸🏼

Although you probably wouldn’t guess it just by looking at them the Virgo can be quite sensitive and emotional deep down.👩🏼‍⚕️

Virgo might be a pacifist but if you back them into a corner you better believe that they will stand their ground.👩🏻‍✈️

They are far from a pushover and they’re clever enough to put someone in their place with their words alone without having to resort to acts of aggression.👷🏻‍♀️

If there’s one thing that sure to get to a Virgo it’s when others think they have the right to lecture and judge them on their decisions and life choices… to Virgo this is frankly none of their business.👩🏼‍💻

Virgos are known for their ability to be a bit bossy at times… some have been known to even call them a ‘slave driver’.👷🏼‍♀️

Beauty and good lucks are nice but if you don’t have have anything else going for you then the Virgo will quickly get bored.🤦🏼‍♀️

To really capture the Virgos attention you’ll need traits like ambition, confidence and perhaps most importantly of all: intelligence.👩🏼‍🎓

Unlike some of the more reckless signs in the zodiac the Virgo possesses strong characteristics and traits of rationality and common sense which prevent them from making stupid decisions on the spur of the moment.🕵🏼‍♀️

The Virgo is extremely calculated in their approach to making important life decisions always making sure to weigh up all of the pros and cons first.🙇🏼‍♀️

Although Virgos often tend to be high achievers they’re also extremely humble and low-key about their skills and abilities.👩🏼‍🌾

Sometimes they they can be so modest that they have a hard to accepting praise and compliments.🙍🏼

The Virgo is the type of friend that you can count on to be there for you no matter what.👱🏻‍♀️

If you are a fellow Virgo, speak up!  Tell me how true you think these “traits” are for you.  The most surprising thing I found out on these sites was that my sign is compatible with Capricorn, also an Earth sign.  I was married to a Capricorn for 47 years! 😂😂

  2. Loved this post. I’m a Virgo through and through–except maybe not always practical–I have a whimsical side that drives me. When I’m with friends and family, I often have to say, “You know I’m a Virgo. I have to do my Virgo thing now.” Then I spout out lists of things we have to do in a specific order. After that, I apologize and tell them I’m out of control and can’t help myself. 🙂

  3. Thanks for sharing a “ramble” about being a Virgo. I feel I know you better and certainly better understand my brother-in-law and his son.
    I don’t follow astrology, but I do look at the “forecast” in the paper when it says, “If this is your birthday . . .”

    I can’t say I know or aware of any virgos in my world.
