“I told you it was real!” Joe pointed down to the sight on the water.
“My God, it is! A giant, and I mean giant, turtle! I’ve never seen one so huge!”
“It’s bioengineered, Jack.”
The two men were observing the new mobile research project, Turtletech. It was designed to blend into the environment while monitoring secret technical transmissions in the area. “See that box on his back? That’s the transmission recording device. From a distance it looks like an ordinary island but when you get up here you can see the real thing!”
“What will they think of next?”
