I was a bit nervous

From the note I received

A whirling dervish

Of a message indeed.

“Home from the hospital” was all it said

What kind of news is this I read?

What happened, and when? I wrote back.

The news from home usually quite lax

But this concerned a relative dear

My concern was developing into fear

Their reply, quite simply conceived

Was good news, and I was relieved.

Health issues with your elders involved

Needs to be sent quickly and resolved.
