Proud of Myself Badge Presentation, number???

I am elated to present this badge of honor again.  To be honest, he was getting a little lonely down there in my media section.  Congratulations Cyranny! at cyranny.wordpress.com, who came out of her cove and completed a dare I put to her.  She hugged a firefighter tonight and even had her picture taken with him!  Now that deserves applause!  Not only for stepping outside her comfort zone, but giving the first responders recognition they deserve but seldom receive.  Like the police, firefighters and 911 dispatchers are hardly recognized for their lifesaving skills. Proud of you Cyranny, and btw, you’re a cutie.💓🌸💗🌷

  2. Thank you so much!! 🙂 This little walk out of my comfort zone was definately worth the scare of being seen as a looney!! And although the guys kindly laughed about it at first, I think they saw beyond the actual “hug” thing, and appreciated the appreciation gesture. I know what it is like to work to help people in some of their worst moments in life, having been an ambulance dispatcher myself…. So it was a pleasure to bring a little fun to their late afternoon! I am sure the expression “calin de pompier” (fireman hug) will stick around in this station for a while…. hehehehehe Thank you for the dare! You should dare people more often, lol

    3. Aww thank you for the kind words 🙂 But all the credit goes to our dear Bag Lady, who pushed me to do it… We should all pay a little visit to those people looking after us! It is a great experience 🙂
