I am impressed, can you tell?  Surprised hardly covers it, but I thank Rob at https://robertmgoldstein.com for nominating me for this award. His blog is always interesting, informative and his art and photography great.  He has “lots to say about lots of things”, so give him a read.  You won’t be disappointed!

1.  I am a redhead and a Virgo, so don’t be surprised at anything I do or say.

2.  My family comes first in my life.

3.  I have lived in vastly different parts of the states and loved them all for different reasons.

4.  My favorite flavor is maple.

5.  I eat nothing buggy looking.

6.  Autumn is my favorite time of year.

7.  I am patriotic, proud to be an American, even now.

8.  My father grew up in the wild west.

9.  My mother drove a horse and buggy to teach school.

10. I have three older sisters.

11. I have worked at two different Wal-mart stores, TX and CO.

Now that’s out of the way, whew!  Now for the easy part, 11 answers to Rob’s questions:

1.  My favorite age was probably around thirty-seven.  I had a full time job I liked, kids in high school, and  healthy.

2.  My most prized possession, that’s a hard one.  I suppose my wedding ring? Material things aren’t my specialty.

3.  I prefer my eggs scrambled and not runny!

4.  I don’t have a favorite author right now, but I have loved Daphne DuMaurier best over the years.

5.  I don’t dance and was not good at it when I could, except in high school.

6.  My current favorite quote heads my blog, “the secret of change is to focus all of your energy not on the old, but on building the new” Socrates

7.  My favorite word?  Keeping this g-rated, I’d have to say, Cool. Not necessarily mind blowing, but I seem to use it a lot!

8.  Ocean or mountains?  No hard decision here, definitely the mountains.

9.  My greatest accomplishment?  I’ve had a few mini ones, but my children and their success and happiness I’ll steal some credit for.

10.  I have a lot of favorite actors because I’m a movie fan, but choosing one?  It’s between Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe.  But seriously, I find it hard to pick only a few.  And that’s just the men!😊

11.  I do not sing well.  I found that out when singing in the car and the radio suddenly blared!😂

Nominating eleven blogs is a difficult thing to do and at first I thought I can’t do it, that anyone taking the time to read all this would be among my  choices, but then I thought, well I wouldn’t be writing this if Rob didn’t choose me.
