Howdy Doody Everyone! Time for SOCS………Short? I’ll keep this short but not sweet:
Shortly it will be time to rest, well let’s hope so. I need sleep! My grandson picked me up and we went to the movies to see “John Wick 2″……okay, we were going to see “Kong” but it was sold out. Did I ever think I would want to see another sorry version of King Kong? No! I dislike remakes, but until Beauty and the Beast comes out, it was a choice for our age group. John Wick is guns, shooting, guns and more guns and shooting, running, ducking shooting and more guns. Actually him shopping for weapons was a good part. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not into violence, but I was sitting there, the oldest one in the theater I imagine. Of course the hero, John, is the best shot. He also uses handy items but I won’t spoil that for you. Let’s just say it turned my stomach and I watch GoT!😳. I would not recommend anyone under seventeen seeing this. JS😉

Saw the version 1 on netflicks. Nope definitely not a touchy feely movie. Of course the dog part was sad … it’s that kind of over-the-top film. Keanu Reeves says he does not do martial arts, just the movie type. Fair enough … eventually the movie service will have it available, I’m sure? Will I try to watch it? Yeah but it’s a movie and not the real thing. So that makes it acceptable, I suppose? Cheers Jamie

I love the fact you go with your grandson to the cinema, he will remember that for the rest of his life. I am not a movie watcher and not much of a TV watcher either. So when it comes to movies, apart from kids movies which my grandchildren like to watch on Prime I see very few. 😉
