Some of these are pretty old

Even some were more than bold.

A family favorite comedy was

No need for liquor to get a buzz.

Laurel and Hardy, or Dangerfield, 

Danny Kaye and Jayne Mansfield.

Bob Hope, Bing, and Buster Keaton, 

These men and others were the reason

For laughter and that’s not counting girls

Like Lucy Ricardo with red curls,

Claudette Colbert or Minnie Pearl,

And Betty White is still having fun

She’s certainly enjoying a long run

They all liked to entertain

And their talents were our gain.
