
It’s 2:44am and the people above just stopped vacuuming. And they either have constant company knocking on their door or they’re hanging art work.
The good news is that now it’s only fourteen minutes till the coffee grinder goes off. Maybe then I can get to sleep. Thirteen….

In NYC we have “quiet enjoyment” laws, meaning quiet prevails 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. My husband is very diligent about reporting noise through our 311 system: city services. Although noise complaints are common and, at our precinct, frequently ignored, we still call them in.Somebody’s got to provide data! 😉 xoM

What the hell! We have rules in England, no noise after 11pm until 7am. I would have a word with someone about them!
