Twelve Mistakes of Christmas

First mistake:  Telling my 18 yr old granddaughter I had two requests now that she’s home from college

Second mistake:  Asking her to help take my scooter in for repair

Third mistake:  Second request for my granddaughter, help me purchase a “real” Christmas tree

Fourth mistake:  Wearing black heavy knit pants

Fifth mistake:  Buying white snow blanket

Sixth mistake:  Taking out white snow blanket before shopping for tree in black pants

Seventh mistake:  Not asking my son-in-law to disassemble the scooter and carry to the car

Eighth mistake:  Thinking I could disassemble the scooter myself

Ninth mistake:  Asking my granddaughter to help me disassemble the scooter

Tenth mistake:  Trying to get a real tree into a sedan with a picky owner

Eleventh mistake:  Not putting lights on the real tree before setting up on the snow blanket

Twelfth mistake:  Not buying an already lit fake tree ( I hate those!)

    1. We got the tree. My fireman, EMT grandson set it up. Decorate tomorrow. It took a long time to find a store selling rope. Finally did, and then the tree guy used his own to tie it up!😂
