“Man, did you see that?  They got my sleigh, Rudolph, and all the other reindeer!  And the presents, what am I supposed to do now?”  

“Well, we were just sitting in Starbucks having coffee.”

“What do you think happened?”  Shelly interrupted,  and started talking over Sue, as usual.”There was this big light, and we were just having coffee, you know Sue and I were just having coffee before we went to that big Macy’s sale, and then there was this big light, and”

“Shut up, Shelly!  Don’t you realize where we are?  Remember that movie?  You know, the scary sci-fi thriller?  That’s what happened to us!”

Santa went on, ignoring the girls, “let’s see, if I had my cell, I could call the North Pole….”

“It’s ancient times here, don’t you get it?  There are no cell phones!  We’ve been transported back in time.”

Shelly looked around, looked at her clothing….”you think we’ll fit in?  Look at what we’re wearing, oh my god!”

Sue looked at Santa, realizing he was just mumbling to himself.  She looked at her friend.  This must be a joke, a crazy dream.  Yes, I need to wake up now.
