Especially when Mrs. Jones offered up her cure
Her reputation didn’t keep her from joining in
Placing her own concoction in the lime punch added gin
No one knew her wayward past, or what was done to her
Wedding occasions were required for her mission to secure
No grooms or brides she sought would ever suffer her sad fate
When she added her special secret potion to their plates.
