“You know, Joe, this Christmas season, well the holidays in general, are supposed to promote love and togetherness, keeping each other safe, specially in families, right?”

“And we’re family aren’t we Joe?”
“Yes.”
“And you’re driving me in the car so you won’t leave me home alone?”
“Yes”
“But driving with an animal in your lap doesn’t seem very safe to me, Joe.”
“Well I never thought of it like that, I just wanted you close so you would feel loved.”
“What if we get in an accident? Where is my seatbelt? This is worse than texting!”
“Okay get in the pet carrier! I never realized how talkative you’d be.”
