“That!” Shirley pointed to a woman hanging a large piece of cloth on her clothesline. “Can you believe it? Why doesn’t she do what all the other women do and use clothespins?”

“Really? Why do you care?”

“Well it just looks silly using those tenterhooks to hang bedsheets.”

“Have you ever tried to hang a giant’s bed sheet?”
