This word desire

Does it mean your heart’s on fire

Or you’re in the mood for something sweet

Maybe a coffee with mocha treat

It means many things.

Feelings that desire brings

Could be romantic

Or simply semantic

Might be feelings so hot

Puts your spouse on the spot

Or lover.  Whatever the case

The heat can’t be erased

Like sweat on your brow

The feeling’s just Wow.

Desire for food

Not to be skewed

I prefer the sensual nature

Of the word’s nomenclature.
