“Yellowstone” is back for a fourth season. That’s the good news! The last episode of season three was a cliffhanger. The bad news is it’s not available just any old place. You will have to check your tv providers. I love this series! The trailer is for season one only.

Being impartial was an eminent quality of the furtive Inspector Jones. He would remain noiseless in his pursuit of clues, and “listen to the scene” as he put it. In this particular case, dust of strewn glitter around the body was significant. Mr. Astaire had been murdered by his lover, a former jewel of society. The unnatural pose of the corpse gave the inspector his answer. He had been danced to death by his lover, Miss Charise.

What is the price you want to pay while enjoying a crowded festivity? Are you sold on the idea that not wearing a mask or keeping your distance is worth it? False claims with not one scruple in sight are fostering the continuation of this pandemic. Statistics don’t have an opinion, they are facts.

The stone path was icy but we trudged on. A red feather drifted by my warm breath; a few sparks from the pond-side fire must have startled a cardinal. We were usurpers, spread around fiery logs, bending to tie up our skates. The freezing snow scented air gave a clue to hidden creatures that an invasion of humans would soon come. Snow plopping down from pine bows framed an enchanted memory of younger days at this same pond. I was no legendary skater, but it was the nostalgic brew of a favorite season when my sisters and I took turns testing the hardness of the ice.

Funny thing about a mirror—you can look at it, stare at it, unbelieving of what you see, but your mind decides what you see. Of course the mirror has no personality, it simply reflects you, whether you like it or not. We cannot usually look at ourselves and see our real self—we will always be prejudiced one way or another. Men will see a virile strong muscular body or the last night’s beer paunch. A woman will see a model of confidence or every wrinkle. The mirror cannot help you decide how you see yourself.

Jim pulled back the canvas flap on the tent to canvass the damage. They never expected the attack but now it was time for the next little guy to be born and there was no bourn of thought that he wouldn’t make it. The mother was strong; nothing was going to hold her back, as she had borne two of the triplets already.

I remember laying stretched out on my stomach on the braided rug—which our home had many, in the living room mesmerized for a short time by a small black and white television. It didn’t take long for us to return to books because at that time it was a blurry picture of snow, and the show was Friday night fights which didn’t interest me much.

This old jalopy needs a new timing belt and a fresh set of cams. This sorting, packing and moving has worn them out and the exhaust system is overloaded. There are no repair shops willing to work on my system, it’s too outdated and new parts cannot be found even in junk yards. I guess I’ll just have to do my best to get this old model on the road again.

Is it Saturday? My sleep schedule is so messed up between the time change, stress of moving and family happenings, I am lucky to get two hours of actual sleep in a row!
