If he was a girl
They’d call her busty
But he was a man so was thought of as husky.
He tried all the diets of lettuce greens
Caused spaceman eyes and acne supreme
A wheelbarrow of romaine could fill his plate
And find his hairline receding, a horrible fate –
No more diets!

W3 Prompt #187: Wea’ve Written Weekly

Yesterday? Contemplating, aka just sitting around thinking🤠 Actually what I was really doing was figuring out if I had enough baking supplies to make cookies for Christmas presents. I make good molasses cookies and peanut butter that really taste like peanut butter. I find most store bakeries etc do not have enough flavor. I have a few reliable recipes on hand. Have a good Thanksgiving if you celebrate💕

Cinquain Poetry Prompt 28: SURVIVE is your inspiration.

Most people say lucky seven
Makes them feel like heaven
I prefer the number nine
Important to me and mine
Forty-one also a like
Birthday memories it spikes
Family choices favor it and nine
We enjoy nines, they’re just divine.
