3TC – Oops!

Aradia, Gullveig, and Rhiamon stand around the cauldron, accusing each other of ruining the potion. “It’s supposed to be a poison, Gullveig, not a love tincture! Now up that bat wing portion and stir in some eagle’s eyes so we’ll be able to see our destruction of Snow White!”

Fandango’s Story Starter

This week’s Story Starter teaser is: “There is a difference between what you actually see and what you think you see,” he told her. “When under the influence of sleep, especially, a dream may seem real but it’s only in your mind.” She answers, “So that lipstick on your shoulder is just a figment of my imagination? And the wrinkled clothes you say you worked in all night…at the office, an illusion also? Get out Charlie, and don’t come back! By the way, that is what I actually said, not what you think I said!”

Fandango’s Story Starter #108

Fandango’s Flash Fiction

It started innocently enough, a man and his dog out for an evening stroll. Then all hell broke loose as a bright light shown on them from a police car. Startled, the man clutched at his dog’s collar, thinking they might be separated. The policemen jumped out of their vehicle, brandishing guns and yelling, “down on the ground! And corral that mutt, or we’ll shoot it!” Joe had committed the current sin of walking while black.

An alien onion, the allium
Many have eaten and none have said yum
Is beautiful yes, and has the scent
But alliums are not for eating meant
A garden of alliums might make appetites sing
But choose me a sweet onion to cook anything.

Earth from Voyager

Here are this week’s questions:

1. Expensive or sentimental, what is priceless to you? Love in all forms

2. What do you consider to be ‘a quiet night in’? All my nights are pretty much quiet unless family is here.

3. Do you believe in Soul Mates? Definitely yes.

4. Can you dance? (for example: old time, disco, jive) I used to love to dance but was shy. If I could now I would not let shyness get in my way.

Gratitude: I’m grateful my family arrived safe and sound on the east coast to visit my oldest granddaughter.
