Can You Tell a Story in 80?

The “Seaman’s Anchor” bartender, secret EPA agent, listened to the creep at the end of the bar near a wooden pillar, which had a microphone and video camera to record any suspicious activity. A favorite drink of the man being recorded was red tea – vodka, tea, and cherry juice, served in a beer mug so he would not be thought a “mermaid”, (anyone drinking “sissy” fare). At the bartender’s signal, EPA government agents would gallop in and make arrests.

80 sounds like a lot, but fitting in those particular words – definitely a challenge. But FUN!🤓

Simply Six Minutes

Hey Joe! We look like twins!

Yeah, but my collar makes me more handsome.

You guys, always posing…lucky they didn’t get you when you’re licking your…

Sue! That kind of comment is not necessary! Think of the puppy up front…

Aww that makes no never mind to him, he wouldn’t understand, he’s too young, said the old man in the front, his mottled fur showing his age.

Are we ready yet? Is she taking the picture now? Huh? Huh? exclaimed the beagles, always a hyper lot.

Joan hated Christmas shopping. Her husband Pete loved it. He took their children to the markets to find out what they wanted for Christmas and they grew up sharing their dad’s enthusiasm for the holidays. Knowing his wife was tired of all the hoopla about the season, Pete decided to surprise her. He told the children to keep it a secret, but they were too excited. Chinese Dragon

The Chinese history of dragons starts in 3000 BCD and looks very different from European dragons. It breathes breath, not fire. First of this legend is Yan Emperor (炎帝 Yándì), a legendary Chinese leader from pre-dynastic times, who was born of an encounter with a powerful dragon. Later, he partnered with Emperor Huang Di and together they conquered their enemies, unified China and, according to myth, pioneered Chinese civilization. The dragon is significant and often in parades. The belief is dragons bring prosperity, bountiful harvests and good health.
