The Unicorn Challenge
“Frank, this is no place to stop, there’s not a soul around!”
“That’s the point, Martha, I need privacy!”
“Again? Frank I think you need to see a doctor!”
Frank laughed, “a doctor? For this?” Frank then walked over to Martha’s side of the car and pulled her out, giving her a very long kiss. Martha was surprised at Franks romantic gesture but kissed him back. Frank closed the car door behind her and took her hand. The grass was soft and green where they came together.

His goal is clear
Keep moving forward
Fight through fear
The world had changed
The future manged
Though he is only one
Needs to see justice done
The bright and shiny now deemed false
Into the facade he walks
Others might follow
Spoken courage often hollow
No matter fearful, he is determined
Forging ahead, a prayer murmured.

“Former President Donald Trump shared a TikTok video yesterday including footage that likely violates federal lawagainst using military cemeteries for campaigning purposes. The video was posted after NPR reported Trump campaign staffers had a physical altercation Monday with an Arlington National Cemetery staffer who was trying to enforce restrictions during a remembrance ceremony. Only cemetery staff are authorized to take photographs or film in the area.”
“🎧 NPR’s Stephen Fowler says the Gold Star families that invited Trump gave him approval for a videographer and photographer to document the emotional moment, but families don’t have the power to suspend the rules. NPR also learned the family of a Green Beret whose headstone was visible in Trump’s footage didn’t give permission to be included. A Trump campaign representative said the Arlington staffer was “clearly suffering from a mental health episode.” JD Vance, Trump’s vice presidential nominee, said yesterday that Vice President Harris could “go to hell” over the Afghanistan withdrawal and blamed reporters for the controversy.

“You know Egbert, you should have put those goggles on earlier. Now your hair is never going back to your curly black, you’re going to look like Bozo the rest of your life!”
“Such a small price to pay Egor, because now I have the cure! Who cares if your hair changes when you are disease free?”
“Uh, Egbert, it’s not just your hair, buddy, it’s, well, look down…”
Egbert looked down, taking off the goggles to see more clearly, and gasped. “You say these changes are permanent?”
“Well you might check the Big and Tall store to see if they have something to cover those feet.”
Egbert fainted and the beaker of cure went down the drain. “Good riddance” Egor murmured.
Clunkers
I like old cars, even the junkers
Plain old donuts – coffee dunkers
I had a sweetie, when I was younger
Left her when another swung her
And she left me, but he stung her
Their short love just went under
Life almost over at this juncture
My shortened times, see a new bunker
